Fun with my Pets
I had three Alaskan Malamutes, and a Himalayan and calico cat in the past. They were a huge part of my family. We traveled with our dog, Kiana, and later with Kia and Klondike. They were all Therapy Dogs who visited people in nursing homes. I wrote a little about each of my pets and added some fun photos. I have written books about my dogs in the Kia's Adventure Series. Click the menu under My Books to find, Kia: A Puppy's Great Adventures, and Kia and Klondike's Adventures. The books are loaded with illustrations and fun adventures.
Introducing My New Puppy, Kenai
Sno Quest's Kenai of Alaska
My husband Don, and I just welcomed a new puppy into our lives. Her name is Kenai. (Kee-ny). She is an Alaskan Malamute just like our past three dogs were. Here is a quick introduction video of our new bundle of joy.
I am in the process of building Kenai her own website filled with lots of photos of her adventures and titles. She is now fourteen months old.
Here are some photos of Kenai.
My Incredible Dogs from the Past
Storm Kloud's Kia From Kiana CGC TDI

KIA
Kia was very in tuned with the emotions of humans which made her an outstanding therapy dog. She visited folks as far away as New York, and Florida. She also visited people who had lost their loved ones, including their pets.
Kia had many talents and was probably the most intelligent dog I had ever worked with. She had a nose like a bloodhound and would track just about anything.
Kia loved to go hiking, sledding, draft carting, and do obedience work. She loved other dogs and always wanted to play with every one she saw. Kia has a Canine Good Citizen (CGC), and Therapy Dog International Title (TDI). Kia participated in a holiday parade in Wisconsin. She received an award from the Alaskan Malamute Club of Wisconsin for all of her achievements.
Kia was truly a remarkable dog.
We miss you baby girl.

Klondike
Klondike was a big boy who loved attention. He was an excellent Therapy Dog and had multiple winnings in obedience competitions. He earned his American Kennel Club (AKC) Rally Novice Title (RN) winning first place at his very first show. He had also won third place the same day he earned his title. He continued his obedience career earning a United Kennel Club Rally 1 title (URO1) with a second place. Klondike started working on his AKC Rally Advanced (RA) title, earning his first leg, (qualifying points) for this title. Klondike also has his Canine Good Citizen, and Therapy Dog titles. At almost 11.5 years old, Klondike received his Novice and Intermediate Trick Dog Titles. Who said you can't teach an old dog, new tricks. LOL. Klondike recently became part of the American Kennel Club PupPals Program. Like Kia, Klondike was awarded for his many achievements by the Alaskan Malamute Club of Wisconsin.
Storm Kloud's EEcho of Kiana CGC TDI

Kiana
Our first Alaskan Malamute puppy, was Storm Kloud's EEcho of Kiana CGC TDI. Also known as Kiana. What a great dog she was. Kiana and my husband, Don, had a special bond. On the way home from our breeders home in Wisconsin, Don's eyes gleamed whenever he looked at her.
Kiana was the daughter of Cash and Mz. Mz was one of the dogs in the only Alaskan Malamute team that ran in the ididorod. Kiana came from a long line of famous and well bred dogs. Kiana was an awesome dog and taught me so much about the Alaskan malamute breed. She is also the reason why I fell in love with the long coat malamutes. She was a big girl at a whopping 118 pounds and outweighed me. Therefore, I really needed to make sure she was well trained and under control at all times. Kiana and I made a great team. She recieved high scores in her puppy and obedience classes. However, I was very inexperienced in the obedience show ring and gave up to quickly.
We named our girl, Kia, after Kiana. Klondike was Kiana's nephew.

Sabrina
January 28, 1997 - September 7, 2015
My Cat Sabrina is 18 years old. She likes to keep me company while I write and illustrate my books. In her younger years, she was a big clown. She knew several tricks one of which was "Blow Me Down". I would blow at her and she would tumble over. It was adorable. Sabrina also liked to play fetch with a crumbled up piece of paper and always brought it back for me to throw again. Her favorite toy was Felix the cat, and she also like to watch him on TV.
Sadly, Sabrina passed away, just 4 months shy of her 19th birthday.

Crystal
Birthdate unknown but in the year of 1987 - March 1994
Crystal was the first pet my husband Don (boyfriend at the time) and I had together. She was more like a dog in a cat's body. She loved to play fetch, knew some fun tricks, and was a very affectionate cat. She was a stray, and a client from the animal hospital I worked at gave her to me. It was love at first sight.
